Tête-À-tête Raghav Sachar plays a rock star in the movie ‘Tum Milo To Sahi’
|
On a roll Raghav Sachar is busy tuning the music for ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Loot’
Raghav Sachar is young and has oodles of talent. A musician who can play more than 30 different instruments, he has albums such as ‘For the first time,’ ‘24 Carat’ and ‘Play it out Loud,’ to his credit and has dir
ected the music for movies such as ‘Kabul Express’ and ‘One Two Three.’ He has also lent his voice for songs like ‘Kabul Fiza’ (‘Kabul Express’) and ‘Manzar’ (‘Sunday’).
Now, Raghav is set to try his luck as an actor in Kabir Sadanand’s movie ‘Tum Milo To Sahi,’ which stars Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Anjana Sukhani and Suniel Shetty, to name a few.
“I play myself, Raghav Sachar, a rock star in the movie. I have around three to four scenes in total,” says Raghav with a grin. He adds: “As I am playing myself, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get into character.” The movie, he says, is about love. “It’s about the different phases of being in love – courtship, marriage and companionship as depicted by three couples. Anjana Sukhani and I play one such couple. Anjana plays a love-struck fan of mine.”
Raghav has two songs in the movie – ‘Oh Jaane Maan’ and a promo song for the movie. Although the movie has yet to start shoot, preparations are already afoot. “Dance rehearsals, costume fittings, song recordings… it has been crazy, but fun.”
Apart from being busy with the preparations for ‘Tum Milo To Sahi,’ Raghav is also busy tuning the music for ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Loot.’ In a ‘dog-eat-dog’ industry, Raghav has a godfather of sorts in Suniel Shetty.
