When was the last time your holiday was spoiled because you got the last seat in an air conditioned bus? Now MakeMyTrip has expanded its range of offerings to include bus ticket bookings. Travellers can access this service both on the website or the
physical travel stores in over 20 cities across India. Booking through enables travellers to choose their seat from the map as per their preference. It offers bookings across categories like Volvo, air-conditioned, non-air-conditioned, deluxe, semi deluxe, sleeper and semi sleeper buses. Travellers can book tickets by logging onto the MakeMyTrip website and clicking on the booking option. Once the booking details are confirmed, payment can be made through credit card, debit card or online bank account.
Tickets booked through the portal are e-tickets which can be printed at the time of booking. MakeMyTrip also shares the e-ticket with customers through e-mail that can be printed at a later date. The traveller is required to take a printout of the ticket along with an identity proof and present it at the time of boarding.
