Bheja Fry

(STAR Movies, Sunday, 9 p.m.)

Ranjeet Thadani may be handsome and wealthy, but he is also an insufferable jerk who’s grown decidedly bored. In order to keep things interesting, he and his friends host a weekly dinner in which one person brings along a clueless companion for the entertainment of the others. Now, it’s Ranjeet’s turn. He has hit the jackpot. His guest Bharat Bhushan is a complete imbecile and will no doubt provide much merriment for the evening. Unfortunately, Ranjeet injures his back on the evening of the dinner forcing him to spend the evening alone with Bharat. Now, as Bharat does his best to help his new friend win back his wife, Ranjeet’s once-comfortable life becomes an endless series of small scale disasters. Starring Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak.

Sunday Brunch

Vh1, June 29, 11 a.m.

This week Sunday Brunch brings you the alternative rock band Radiohead from Oxfordshire, England that exploded onto the scene in 1993, with the angst-packed Gen-X anthem “Creep”. Radiohead has only gotten bigger since, with albums such as “The Bends” and OK Computer considered as alternative classics, and others like “Kid A” and “Amnesiac” which showcase the innovative side of the band. This Grammy award winning group, after their first single became an instant hit, forayed into obscure temperaments of progressive rock. Watch these distinctive rockers with back-to back video shuffle and comprehensive interviews that will keep you panting for more.
