One of the best health foods/drinks you can buy at the supermarket is skimmed milk powder. Compared to whole milk, it provides a lot more of protein, fewer carbohydrates and almost no fat.

Though milk is an excellent source of protein, calcium and amino acids, it cannot be consumed in large amounts to get enough of nutrients. This is especially true in the cases of people who work out to develop lean muscle or lose fat.

However, the milk prepared with 50 gm of a good brand of skimmed milk powder provides about 17 gm of protein and 26 gm of carbohydrates. Adjust your overall calorific intake based on your needs and add skimmed milk to your diet.
