Divine journey

Badrinath beckons

What makes Badrinath so popular a destination that thousands of people queue up to visit it every year? May be its capacity to satiate your spiritual and adventurous soul at the same. This makes it a perfect family outing. You can bask in the snow-ca pped Himalayas, check out the Valley of Flowers, pay homage at the shrine and visit Shri Hemkunt Sahib, the only Sikh shrine at 16000 ft altitude.

Sarovar Hotels has introduced luxurious tented accommodation at Ghangharia for travellers heading for Shri Hemkunt Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. There are in total 20 tents — 19 deluxe tents and one deluxe suite — spread over an area of 87 sq. kms.

While the deluxe tents cost Rs.2,250 per person per night, the suite costs Rs.4,000 per person per night. Prices include a welcome drink, breakfast, half-day sight seeing and trip to Badrinath shrine. The package is valid till October 31. For bookings and details contact: 011 - 26383851/2/3/4/5.
