Mandolin recital

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Alpha to Omega Learning Centre, a school in Chennai for children with specific learning disabilities, will present a recital by Mandolin U Shrinivas on July 5. To bring alive the Rajasthani tradition, Jaipur Gems presents a four-day jadau gala between July 3 and 6 at their showroom, from 11 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. It will feature an exhibition-cum-sale that showcases the traditional and ethnic jewellery of Rajasthan. For details, call 0422-4393964.

Oxford Bookstore will conduct a literary activity ‘Learning Can Be Fun,’ for children on July 5 (Saturday) at Cha Bar. It will be held between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. It is for children aged between five and 14 years. It is free, and entry is r estricted to 25 participants.
