Evam conducts “Cut III”, its annual theatre workshop, from July 8

Get ready this July for ‘Cut III’, the third edition of evam’s annual theatre workshop. It aims at training all those who want to be more than just part of an audience. Areas such as body language, voice training, acting, backstage and basic light/sound design will be covered in the schedule.
Apart from theatre aspects, participants will get inputs on communication, performance, teamwork and personality development, while having loads of fun! The workshop will be activity-intensive with lots of exercise and games.
Anyone can apply as it is not a prerequisite for participants to have prior knowledge or experience of theatre!
This year, ‘Cut III’ will select and train 35 theatre enthusiasts, based on auditions. Talented participants will get an opportunity to be part of evam’s upcoming productions. ‘Cut III ‘ is scheduled from July 8-18 from 7 p.m.-9.30 p.m. at Vidyasagar, Ranjith Road, Kotturpuram. They can also walk in for an audition interview at Vidyasagar, Kotturpuram on July 6, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The fee (for those who are selected in the auditions) will be Rs.3,500 (Rs.3000 for students).
