Wide choice

Today’s generation has a wide variety of career choices. Still, it is highly disappointing to see students go after either engineering or medicine.

Why are people crazy about professional courses? What is in it that attracts them? Professional courses over the years have gained significance and are considered prestigious. Colleges offering courses in Humanities and Sciences are looked down upon and parents always have a second thought while enrolling their children in these courses. Courses in history, geography, psychology, languages, music, philosophy, journalism and mass communication open up good avenues. It is better to be open-minded than to have a narrow focus. The course does not play any role.

It is the student’s interest and passion that matters. A student’s true interest and depth of knowledge alone takes him/her to greater heights. Taking up a career for the sake of its tag is of no benefit!
