SIGNATURE DISH

Chilli chicken

At K. R. Bakes

Kalamassery

Chilli chicken is what you get at every eating place worth its name. This chilli chicken is unlike most kinds available. The boneless bite-size pieces are fried to perfection, the concept seems to be chicken-tikka inspired but nothing like it. It is spicy, you can taste the chilli powder but the kind that you just can’t stop at one. Perfect with Malabar parotta (for whom gravy is not important) or as finger food. Although there is no masala or curry, the pieces are done nicely sans too much oil. Just that a portion would not suffice as a meal.

Price : Rs. 50 for a portion

Bottomline: Scrumptiously delicious...can’t just stop at one
