U.K.-based footwear brand Pavers makes its entry into Chennai

The Indian footwear industry has been growing by leaps and bounds in the past few years. The market is awash with new brands offering a mosaic of styles at competitive prices. The industry’s growth is marked by the large number of international brands available in the country today.
Pavers England, a renowned U.K.-based footwear brand, recently made its Chennai debut at Kobbler, located on TTK Road (Alwarpet). The highlight of the launch was a fashion show displaying a wide range of comfortable yet chic footwear for men and women.
The majority of the men’s selection was formal wear, with a few casual items. The women’s collection, on the other hand, was predominantly casual with some unique designs, suited both to Indian as well as western trends.
Fly Flot, a women’s comfort brand in Europe and the U.S., was also launched at the function by Pavers England. With shock absorbing soles treated with antibacterial odour absorbing solution, Fly Flot keeps feet fresh.
The collections were launched in Bangalore in April, and now that they’ve been introduced in Chennai, the company intends to open up to 50 outlets all over India. “The Pavers and Fly Flot range are being made available at leading footwear retailers across the country,” said Utsav Seth, Joint Managing Director, Pavers England (Indian operations). “We are excited that our range is debuting in this part of the world, and we look forward to developing the brand with a strong emphasis on comfort and value for money.”
Prices start at Rs. 899 for women and Rs. 1,299 for men.
