Wipro Babysoft has rolled out a new variant of its popular cloth-feel diapers. Wipro BabySoft ‘Dry Care’ diapers are targeted at first time or occasional users. The variant is available in packs of two’s, five’s and 10’s, and each diaper costs Rs. 9.

Fashionable paints

Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd has announced the launch of its ‘Nerolac Spring Summer Collection ’08’ in association with fashion designer Manish Malhotra. This collection follows the worldwide trend of deriving colour from fashion. ‘Renewal’ is the central theme of this collection, and it aims to portray how fashion can be used to accentuate and beautify the house.

Shiny mane


Garnier Fructis has introduced a Sleek and Shine that is said to take care of frizzy hair. Enriched with active fruit concentrate, it claims to strengthen hair from within, leaving it soft and shiny. This new range comprises shampoos and conditioners for normal, dry, damaged and coloured hair.

The shampoo is priced at Rs. 99 for a 200-ml pack, and Rs.54 for a 100-ml pack. The conditioner comes for Rs. 125 (200 ml) and Rs. 65 (100 ml).

Hygienic wipes


The Aditya Birla group has introduced Kaya, a range of skincare wipes. The range includes refreshing, deep-pore cleansing, toning, moisturising and sunscreen wipes. All the formulations are clinically tested, and said to be dermatologically safe and alcohol free. The wipes are made out of Birla cellulose, and the range starts at Rs. 27 (for a pack of 10 refreshing wipes) and goes up Rs. 150 (for a pack of 25 sunscreen wipes). Available at all leading departmental stores.

Fighting grease

Henkel India has launched the Pril Multi Degreaser, which is claimed to remove the most stubborn and sticky grease from utensils.

The product works even on vertical surfaces. The patented trigger enables direct foam application on the greasy part.

It is available in a 40-ml pack, and costs Rs. 90.

Leather bags


Hidesign presents its latest line, Teak Collection. Crafted in rich, heritage leather, this collection boasts ultra stylish and spacious handbags. It consists of three classic designs, Classic Tote, Hobo ‘Jacqueline Onassis’ bag, and the classic bucket bag. The Tote is spacious, and can carry everything from a pen to a laptop.

It is priced at Rs. 3,345. The Hobo bag is simple and chic, and comes for Rs. 2,895. The classic bucket bag is a medium-sized hold-all that costs Rs. 2,995.

Duncans Tea has launched its super premium brand — Double Diamond Gold — that offers a fine balance of flavour and aroma. It is targeted at connoisseurs of tea, and is a blend of the finest handpicked high grown orthodox long leaf and robust CTC Assam teas.

It is available in all leading stores across the country in 100 gm and 250 gm packs, priced at Rs. 25 and Rs. 65, respectively. Every 250 gm pack comes with an attractive gold-rimmed cup.

Remote-control toys


Emerald Sales Corporation has launched ‘Kentoys’, an international toy brand from Hong Kong that offers licensed scale models of remote control cars and bikes. Choose from brands such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Honda, Nissan, Lexus and Yamaha.

They also have models of desert cruisers, aeroplanes and helicopters. Prices range between Rs. 249 and Rs. 2,199.
