Rising fuel prices notwithstanding, there is good news for those who want to buy a new small car. GM India’s much sought after Chevrolet Spark is now available across the nation for Rs 2.66 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) as its new plant gets ready to start operations.
Speaking on the special offer, Ankush Arora, Vice President, Marketing, said,
“The special price is the result of improved localisation of Spark due to increase in production volume. This is GM India’s way of thanking our discerning customers, who have shown enthusiasm for our carlines.” Spark has won the JD Power Award for its quality attributes, and at 16.9 kpl, was rated best-in-class in terms of fuel economy. The Spark has also won the special ‘Best Value 2008” award recently.
In addition, General Motors India has rolled out an aggressive integrated marketing campaign revolving around its best-selling mini car, the Chevrolet Spark. This campaign revolves around a once-in-a-lifetime, limited period special offer to prospective mini car buyers.
