Need for researchers

With privatisation and globalisation, engineering has become a fruitful career option for students due to rapid strides in information technology, outsourcing, manufacturing, assembling and automobile industry. Still most parents and students prefer only engineering and medicine whereas there are several other fields available the world over like bio-technology, genomics, nano-technology, nursing, nharted accountancy, ICWA, finance, and management etc. There is a scarcity of researchers in India and the country is in need of them in more numbers. Students should refrain from choosing their career based on the trend or under parental pressure. They should rather opt for other developing fields, where there is less competition and they can excel in it in the near future.
