Vijay TV auditions

Vijay TV will organise ‘Stayfree Secure Dry Ultra Thin Kanavugal Kaanum Vayasaachu’, a talent hunt in Coimbatore on July 12 to find next set of students for the serial ‘Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal’. The popular serial on Vijay TV running successfully for more than 300 episodes, reminisces the joys and sorrows of school life.

Interested candidates between the age of 14 to 22 can participate in the first level of auditions that will be held at Kumaran Kalyana Mahal (Opposite Thiruvalluvar Depot), Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore – 641030.

Auditions begin at 8 a.m. onwards.

Candidates can come dressed in any attire / disguise of their choice to portray their acting skills better. The acting skills of the contestants will be judged by some well known luminaries of the small screen.

Only the first 500 walk-ins will be allowed to audition in Coimbatore.

Chosen candidates from Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore zones will be put through a workshop which will be judged by the director/actor Suhasini Manirathnam along with other known faces from the television industry in July 2008.

The talent hunt will air as a reality series on Vijay TV from July 14, 2008 (Monday – Thursday) at 7.30 p.m.
