Winning hearts

DJs Paul Jackson and Paul Deighton enthralled music lovers recently

Amid a haze of neon and disco lights and crowned with headphones, they spin their magic by mixing music. Their creations echo through the room and the floor, leaving their listeners mesmerised. Well, one is talking of DJs Paul Jackson and Paul Deighton House, who recently enthralled Delhi’s music lovers with their funky and psychedelic sounds.

Straddling both a disc jockey and production career, Paul Jackson has been on the top of the industry for the last 15 years. And is hoping to top the world of house music. In the last year, he has mixed music for popular artistes like Bob Sinclair, Pink, Dido and Justin Timberlake, to name a few.

He has also impressed with his soundtracks and film music. Deighton’s main weapon is his ability to produce quality underground house music.

He and Jackson have been touring the world with their signature tunes.

VH1 Dance and 101 along with the city nightclub Ministry of Sound have brought these DJs for their first tour of India. Having started in Hyderabad, the tour concluded in Delhi.

Ferzad Palia, Associate General Manager, VH1 India, says, “We are constantly striving to let our viewers experience music first hand and we are absolutely thrilled with the response we have received in Delhi!”
