Actress Karisma Kapoor denies a comeback in the near future

All that sparkle Karisma Kapoor

“It’s more challenging being a homemaker,” says Karisma Kapoor with a wave of her hand. “Being an actor or being a mother – both are very hectic, challenging jobs,” adds the Bollywood actress, now a toddler’s mother. Present at the launch of Nestle’s new product Nesvita Pro-heart the other day in Delhi, Karisma denies any plan of making a comeback to the silver screen in the near future. “At present I’m busy with my family. When I plan to return to movies, I’ll let you know.” Dressed nattily in a white collared top with black trousers and a broad black glittering belt around her slim waist, Karisma graciously accepted compliments from the programme host. On being quizzed about her sister Kareena’s new-found figure, Karisma laughs and says, “We both share clothes, so everything that’s going around is just great hype. She has worked hard and I think you should appreciate that.”

When will the two sisters be seen together in a movie? “It’s a big step, so we need to find a good script…we want the end result to be good,” comes her crisp reply.

Asked if Kapoors were back to rule Bollywood, with both Kareena and Ranbir now hogging the limelight, she says, “We never went anywhere!”

Well, any contradictions?
