Boys and girls battle it out in “Zara Nachke Dikha” starting this Monday on Star One

Deadly duo Karishma Tanna and Manish Goel

You could call it the world’s oldest conflict: boys versus girls. Not only does it never go away, it also never fails to draw viewer interest.

And Star One is ready with Zara Nachke Dikha, a battle between girls and boys. But instead of trading punches and throwing their weight around, they are trying to be as light as possible, flinging their jhatkas and matkas about the dance floor.

Participants from both groups are eager, excited and ready to beat each other. TV stars Manish Goel and Karishma Tanna along with other participants made an appearance in the Capital and had the crowd dancing to their tunes.

Manish, a former participant of Nach Baliye, said, “It’s different from other programmes, as it presents a competition between boys and girls. And there is no sms poll for the participants.”

When Manish was asked about his belligerent antecedents, , he stated, “I used to fight a lot within the family, especially with my sisters.”

The one-and-a-half hour show will be telecast from 14 July every Monday and Tuesday on Star One.
