Award for PBS

Eminent singer-composer P. B. Sreenivas (PBS) has been nominated for the 12th Kamukara Award, instituted in the name of the noted Malayalam singer Kamukara Purushotaman.

Announcing this, the organisers, Kamukara Foundation, said that the award will be given away at a function to be held at the Kerala Fine Arts Hall, Kochi, on November 8 at 6 p.m. The award comprises a memento, citation and Rs. 25,000. The city plays host to the function for the first time.
