Coimbatore contestant Dominica Petrecia wins the title



And the winner is…Petricia from Coimbatore

Dominica Petrecia from Coimbatore has bagged the ‘Chinni’s Kitchen Queen’ in the popular reality Show Chinni’s Masala Kitchen Queen Contest’08 on Star Vijay, aired every Sunday at 4.30 pm. Chinni’s Masala, a flagship brand of CavinKare, presented a Maruti Zen to the winner.

Dominica Petrecia, who ruled the show with her culinary skills, holds a Masters degree in English Literature and is a teacher by profession. Her efficiency in cooking six dishes within half an hour in the show, gave her the edge over other contestants.

The contest featured the culinary skills of 16 contestants, selected from 4000 entries across Tamil Nadu.

The contestants showcased original recipes. Noted chef Damu and television actress Anu Hassan were the judges of the show. Sandhya from T Nagar, Chennai, was the runner-up and she won a TVS Scooty.
