Survival of the fittest

Present inflation rate of 11.89 per cent is a 13-year-high with an adverse effect on the common man. Due to the high cost of essential commodities, people are in an imbroglio. In the given situation, it is becoming difficult to run a family of more than four members. People who have two-wheelers or cars prefer buses and bicycles for their transportation. The only relief to the common man is the unchanged bus fare. Thanks to the State Government. If there is a hike in that too, then we can see more number of people on streets choosing to walk. However, the impact of inflation on common man will prevail for some more time. Till then, it is the survival of the fittest.

Sathish,

Madurai.
