Toil to live

Inflation is steadily increasing. The main reason for the increase is rise in price of steel, cement, oil, vegetables, fruits, cereals, pulses and edible oils. While the government seems to take interest in reducing the prices of oil, cement and steel no serious effort has been made for vegetables, fruits, cereals, pulses and edible oils, which are fast becoming out of reach for the common man. He is put to untold hardship since these items are in his everyday use. Those who have enough money can purchase anything. The common man who toils hard to eke out a living is in great trouble because of inflation.

G. Venkidusamy,

Madurai.
