The Hills

Vh1, Tuesdays, 9.30 p.m.

The show follows Lauren (“LC” from Laguna Beach) as she makes the move from her O.C. digs to Los Angeles, where she enters the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and also gets a job as an intern at the popular magazine “T een Vogue”. Through Lauren we meet her new roommate, a sorority girl and a receptionist who wants to be a model/actress. Watch the girls have fun being in the “in” crowd of LA, hopping from clubs, to parties, to hip restaurants as they live the Hollywood lifestyle.

Akshay Kumar, the host of the show inspires 13 beautiful participants to chant the gayatri mantra before the start of each stunt. He helps the girls to overcome their fear and calm their mind through prayer. Akshay says whenever he does stunts in fil ms, he chants the mantra in his mind.
