Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM has launched “Mirchi Double Dharode” (Double Loot) in Bangalore. “Pori Tapori” Rachna and “Badshah” Avinash are the Radio jocks whose aim is to take the winnings away from the listeners.
To participate, listeners need to listen to the qualifying question and SMS 983 followed by the answer to 58888. All the right answers are short listed randomly on air. The selected listener for the contest wins the entire Rs. 98,300 even before the game show starts, and the contestant has to now protect this money over the next five questions from being looted by the Radio Mirchi Jocks. With each wrong answer the contestant loses one digit from the amount and the prize money can get reduced from Rs. 98,300 to Rs. 9 in just five questions, explain the organisers.
RJ Rachna on her show “Hi Bangalore” aired between 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and RJ Avinash on “Chill Maadi” aired between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. would randomly choose listeners on their show, to play the game.
