Commercial exploitation

Seeing children who are supposed to be enjoying their childhood being put under immense stress to perform in the name of reality shows is disturbing. It is too early to judge their talent while they are just in the learning stage. Moreover, they may not have developed the maturity to handle defeat. Part of the fault lies with the channels that project reality shows as battle grounds in order to boost the Television Rating Points (TRP), without taking into consideration the impact on tender minds.
