Sustainable steps

The country continues to face an unprecedented rise in prices of essential commodities. The trend, if not checked, will pose a threat to the livelihood of people below poverty line. Price rise of food items should be contained immediately. While hike in petrol price is a global phenomenon, inflation depends largely on the country’s financial assets. Rather than relying on provisional methods to control inflation, Government must plan and implement sustainable measures that benefit people in the long run.
