Whodunit?

Konangal invites you to a screening of Sling Blade on Sunday, July 27 at 5.45 p.m at Ashwin Hospital Auditorium. It is the story of Karl Childers, a mentally handicapped person who is imprisoned for a gruesome and seemingly inexpli cable murder. The film won international acclaim. Billy Bob Thorton wrote, directed and played Karl Childers in the film.

His screenplay earned him an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, a Writers Guild of America Award, and an Edgar Award, while his performance received Oscar and Screen Actors Guild nominations for Best Actor.
