Apoorva Lakhia did not exactly set the cash registers ringing with his first film Mumbai se Aaya Mera Dost. But last year he hit the bull’s eye with Shootout at Lokhandwala, a film that marked Vivek Oberoi’s second coming as an actor. Now the duo is back in familiar territory with Mission Istanbul where Zayed Khan shares the screen space with other stars.

Govinda is back. Bhagam Bhag and Partner gave him a chance to establish himself again as a popular hero. Now he is back, all by himself. Raising laughs, singing and dancing along in this comedy that is not short of action or a fast pace. Let’s see if in the days to come cinemagoers take to his brand of tomfoolery again.

Despite stiff competition, Batman holds on to his edge at the box office. There is a little problem though in this Heath Ledger starrer.

Batman is reduced to a side show as Ledger as Joker gets all the plaudits in an author-backed role that only proves how much the cinemagoers will miss him following his sad demise this year.
