Film screening
Moving Images Film Club is screening Chetan Anand’s Neecha Nagar (which introduced Kamini Kaushal, and had Pandit Ravi Shankar as a music composer) as a tribute to the veteran film-maker. The film-maker’s son Ketan Anand will be present to introduce the film. Summer carnival
The Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad celebrates the Sommerfest, marking the end of the Hyderabadi summer and the onset the European one. The festival takes on the form of a carnival replete with masks and costumes, songs, German food and fun.
