Voice your Views - Braving power cuts

Open doors, let in air

Tolerating power cuts can be considered an act of bravery as we are addicted to all sorts of comforts. The scheduled power cuts add to our discomfort. We must open all doors and windows so that there is circulation of fresh air. We must reduce our addiction for air-conditioners. When there is a power cut, there is no way we can watch television. Instead, we can hear songs on an I-pod or we can stare at nature, appreciating its beauty. Games on cellphones add to our comfort.
