Under the given power scenario, the Government needs to give the correct picture about the power position in the State and the steps initiated to overcome the problem instead of giving a false picture. When an unanimous decision is taken on power cuts, it should be followed according to the time schedule. But most often, the schedule is not followed properly and power cuts are effected differently on different days in different areas. This needs to be corrected and, on the part of EB, it can ensure that alternate street lights are made to burn. Similarly, for advertisement hoardings, there should be a restricted time schedule.
