Middle class families and those living below poverty line are the worst affected by inflation. The increase in cost of consumer products and not in income is posing great difficulty in leading life normally and peacefully. Due to inflation, the common man is forced to do overtime, try to earn more, cut down expenses and end up leading a stressful life. Inflation only proves the saying that “rich get richer” as they are able to survive and sustain their economy while the poor get poorer” unable to sustain themselves. The common man’s suffering due to inflation is the worst symptom of weakness in a society. The government should take suitable steps to save the common man from inflation as no country can progress until it attains some sort of economic equilibrium among all sections of people.
