BEST RECIPE
Whole Wheat Dosa
Ingredients
Whole wheat: 1 cup
Green chillies: 2-3
Ginger: 2-inch piece
Curry leaves
Onion: 1
Salt to taste
Method
Take whole wheat and wash finely. Add ginger, curry leaves and green chilly.
Grind all these into a fine paste by adding enough water. Chop the onion. Add chopped onion and salt to the dosa batter.
Mix it well. Heat the tava. Take one ladle full of batter and pour it on the tava. With the help of the ladle, spread the batter on the tava as thinly as possible.
When it is cooked on one side, spread one spoon of ghee on the dosa and flip it to cook the other side. When it turns golden brown, take down from the tava and serve with chutney or sambar.
The preparation time is 10 minutes.
To prepare this dosa, the tava should not be a non-stick one. Preferably, it should be an ordinary tava.
Before pouring the dosa batter on the tava, don’t add oil on the tava (if there is oil on the tava, it becomes difficult to make the dosa thin.
