Just joking

Driving to work, a gentleman swerved to avoid a box that fell out of a truck. Seconds later, a policeman pulled him over for reckless driving. Fortunately, another officer had seen the carton on the road. The policeman recovered the box, containing upholstery tacks. ”I’m sorry sir,” the first trooper told the driver, “but I am still going to have to write you a ticket.” Amazed, the driver asked for what. The trooper replied, “Tacks evasion.”

A motorist was mailed a picture of his car speeding through an automated radar. A $40 speeding ticket was included. Being cute, he sent the police department a picture of $40. The police responded with another mailed photo — of handcuffs.
