Optimum use

The TNEB authorities resort to power cuts often because the supply is falling short of the demand. Uninformed and periodical power cuts during peak hours affect all. For power generation, apart from the conventional sources, other alternaive sources of energy should be immediately tapped. Government should allot sufficient funds for this. Power theft should be dealt with seriously. Responsibility also rests on the consumers to make optimum use of power avoiding wastage to the maximum possible extent.
