Remembering the horrors of Hiroshima

Konangal Film Society screens Hiroshima, a film by Roger Spottiswoode and Koreyoshi Kurahara at Ashwin Hospital Auditorium on Sunday, August 10, at 5 p.m. About one of the most frightening events in World history and the Second War , the film is about the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and its aftermath.

It includes dramatised historic events, newsreel and army archive footage, and testimonial interviews with the actual people involved, including political advisors, soldiers and civilian eye witnesses.
