Housewives can play a role

The problem of frequent power cuts can be braved by a display of togetherness and collective understanding among citizens and by implementing a few effective measures. We all know that solar power can replace conventional electricity. Moreover, the housewives can take the initiative of saving electricity by switching off the electrical home appliances for two hours on a daily basis, especially when the husbands leave for office and the children go to school in the morning. A lot of power can be conserved if the housewives living in a particular locality take a pledge of not using the electrical home appliances for a fixed period of time. ‘Energy saved is energy produced’. So rise up and let’s start the campaign.
