‘Born in Kerala’


Remember the album ‘Malayali’? The team that made this hit album is back now with ‘Born in Kerala’.

Jakes Bejoy, the man behind ‘Malayali’, says of the next album,” “The album is titled thus because everyone cherishes a love for their birth placeIt has eight songs and . Jakes also plays a role as a singer in this album, after the films like ‘Flash’, ‘Pachchamarathanalil’.

The themes of the songs revolve around love, youthfulness and the beauty of life.

Two of the songs have been made into videos. Roma, is paired with Ajmal in one of the songs.

Singers are Ranjith, Sayanora, Benny Dayal, Subiksha and Arjun. Lyrics have been written by Anil Panachooraan and Jalu Jayaraj. The orchestra that is associated with this album has Gopi Sundar (BIG B fame), Aswin Sivadas (Lajjawathiye fame), Santhosh Narayan, Keeth Peters (both are from A R Rahman’s group), Sumesh, William etc. ‘Born In Kerala’ will be released by TOT Music, on August 23.
