Young film critics and journalists are invited to participate in the 59th Berlin International Film Festival

TALENT HUNT Berlin International Film Festival
Berlinale Talent Campus, Goethe-Institut and FIPRESCI (the International Federation of Film Critics) invite applicants for their project “The Talent Press” for young film critics and film journalists who will be invited to Berlin to report on the films at the 59th Berlin International Film Festival from February 5 to 15, 2009 and on the events of the Berlinale Talent Campus from February 7 to 12, 2009. Applicants have to be fluent (verbal and written) in English, be under 30 years of age, and have published articles in newspapers, film magazines, on websites or at universities.
Applicants are expected to work equally in all fields of journalism — they will have to write interviews, reviews, reports, articles and features on the Berlinale Talent Campus and the Berlin International Film Festival and attend daily editorial meetings with their mentors.
The details
The organisations will offer a share of the travel expenses according to your country of origin, free accommodation from February 6 to 14. Online applications should include CV and personal data, three original copies of articles published in the last two years (articles written in other languages than English should be supported with a translation in English as proof of the applicant’s English skills.
