Of The Blue Divine, by Anil Srinivasan and Sikkil Gurucharan

After having released two albums, both with Charsur, and a private collection for the TVS family, vocalist Sikkil Gurucharan and pianist Anil Srinivasan are back with ‘The Blue Divine : The Music of Sikkil Gurucharan and Anil Srinivasan’.
The duo has been travelling widely with their music. Their recent concert tour of the U.S. saw them perform at mainstream venues, where their music received an overwhelming response.
Their fourth album, “The Blue Divine” is again a private collection, this time funded by Microsoft. The music has already come in for high praise from international circles, and is being released on October 17 (Friday) at Taj Connemara in aid of the Cancer Research and Relief Trust.
The CRRT, formed by four prominent oncologists, aims to provide affordable treatment for individuals afflicted by curable forms of cancer. The trust has also initiated research in the area alongside the biotech department at IIT, Madras. For more information, contact 98410-94282.
