Known for doing things in his own way, Vijaya T. Rajendar has launched a web television to talk about a range of subjects close to his heart.
Says the veteran actor, “Actually, I wanted to launch a 24-hour television channel but there were some problems in securing a licence. So I thought why not start a web television.” Boasting lakhs of viewers, www.kuraltvinfo.com “has topics that will appeal to everyone”.
If one wants to see places then click on ‘Ula Sutrula’. You can ask the actor questions in ‘Kelungal Sollappadum’.
There are separate sections for lovers and their letters in ‘Kadhal Paithiyangal’ and ‘Kadhal Kadithangal’. Adds Rajendar, “News will be available all through the day and will be unbiased. Silambarasan has a separate section to talk about his films and share his views in ‘Silambu Kalaiyarangam’, while ‘Ilakiya Kalaiyarangam’ will interest women.
The actor has made provision for music lovers too. You can listen to folk songs, new and old film songs and also Gana and Carnatic music. What’s more, there a section on short and feature films. “I will keep in touch with the masses through the web till I get to launch Kural TV,” says Rajendar.
