E. Ponmudi, Junior Mr. India, says, “Don’t start abdominal exercises the moment you sign up at a gym. Perform cardiovascular training every day. Start with a few minutes on the stationary bike or treadmill and gradually increase the duration to 30-45 minutes. After a few weeks, your stomach will start to reduce. Strengthen your lower back using exercises such as Good Mornings or Deadlifts, under supervision. After a while, you can slowly add abdominal exercises to your programme.”
