A new innings

Vikranth? Who?” you might ask. But the young actor who has played roles in films such as “Karka Kasadara”, “Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthein” and “Nenchathai Killathey” is back. First, it was the star cricket tourney that was held on Saturday in which his swashbuckling century won him the ‘Man of the Match’ title. Second, the actor makes a come back on the big screen with the Vijayakanth starrer “Engal Aasan” that’s being released this Friday. “I’m thrilled to have won the match for Chennai Warriors. I’ve played cricket in school, but I didn’t expect to do this well here. I won a bike and a cash prize for my spate of sixes in the match,” gushes Vikranth.
