Stir fried Chinese greens
CHEF HARI KRISHNAN
Ingredients
Diced Chinese cabbage: 400gm
Diced pakchoy: 400gm
Broccoli: 400gm
Diced spinach leaves: 200gm
Salt to taste
White pepper: a pinch
Corn flour: a pinch
Chopped garlic: 10 gm
Olive oil: 10 ml
Method
Clean all the vegetables in running water, dice them and let them drip dry. Sauté chopped garlic. Add the vegetables and stir fry for a while. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper. Stir fry again taking care that the vegetables do not go limp.
Dissolve the corn flour and pour over the vegetables just to give a little glaze and coating. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles. This is a very healthy and nutritional dish which demands almost no oil or any other spices and does not even spoil the nutritional value because of quick cooking technique. All the above mentioned vegetables are easily available in supermarkets.
