Facing the camera

A. R. Rahman is. Unbelievable as it may sound in the context of the shy Oscar winner, hip-hop singer Akon has managed to convince him to face the camera. Akon’s second video called ‘Beautiful’ from his new album ‘Freedom’ ; has Rahman apparently grooving with a bevy of beauties. It is supposed to have a mix of Indian and African music. We are waiting for this one!

Actor Shriya Saran is crying herself hoarse about being given a raw deal in Sangeeth Sivan’s “Ek”, which we have been reporting about for almost years now. It’s just been in the making that long! After being left out of publicity hoardings and press meets, now Shriya’s pictures have started doing the rounds. Not a word about her performance or screen time though, there is just talk about how she looks fantastic as a Punjabi girl.
