The dashing Sagar alias Jacky (Mohanlal) of ‘Irupatham Noottandu,’ is back with a bang in this thriller directed by Amal Neerad and scripted by S. N. Swami. A couple of decades down the line, Sagar is now a don based in Dubai. Pranav Mohanlal, Bhavana, Shobhana, Jagathy Sreekumar and Ganesh also star.

Urvashi excels as Molamma, a long-suffering middle-class wife, in this family entertainer from veteran director Venu Nagavalli. Jagathy Sreekumar plays her adulterous husband.

Mukesh, Padmapriya, Harisree Ashokan, Thilakan, Jyothirmayi and Sukumari don supporting roles.

Music is by Alex Paul.

Ek-The Power Of One

A remake of a Telugu film, Ek is about mistaken identity of an assassin. After a couple of low-brow comedies, Sangeeth Sivan returns to action with Bobby Deol and Nana Patekar.

Both are going through bad times at the box office and desperately need Ek hit! So does Shreya Saran, whose Bollywood innings is refusing to take off.
