Vegetable juice

Near the entrance to Kanakakunnu Palace and Museum

Ever tried a vegetable juice that is a concoction of assorted vegetables such as bitter gourd, beetroot, carrot, cucumber and so on?

If the answer is no, make a beeline for the vendors who sell vegetable juice and soups just outside the Museum grounds and Kanakakkunnu Palace.

But only early birds get the, well, juice or soup. Such is the demand for both that it gets over by about eight a.m.

You can choose the vegetables for your health drink and even the ingredients to spice it up. Laced with a dash of salt, pepper and green chillies, the vegetable juice acts as a powerful wake-up drink that seems to kick start all the nerves in your body!
