Arya’s journey

Actor Arya is on a high. Post “Naan Kadavul”, his diary is packed with projects. “Sarvam” is due for release. And, he’s already commenced shooting for Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited’s “Chikku Bhukku” with Shriya Saran. Manikandan, who took over the megaphone after filmmaker Jeeva’s demise during the shooting of “Dhaam Dhoom”, directs the film. An extravagant dance sequence choreographed by Rekha Chinni Prakash was recently shot at Karaikudi. It featured Arya, Preetika (sister of Bollywood star Amrita Rao) and 80 dancers. Music is by Colonial Cousins — Leslie Lewis and Hariharan. Says Arya: “The story is fresh, and Manikandan’s screenplay is interesting. The film is being shot at scenic locales and it will be a grand visual treat.”
