Come August and Bharath Bala with his eponymous production house is to camp in Kerala for his film “The 19th Step” with Kamal Haasan, Asin and Japanese actor Tadanobu.

The film is about a Japanese samurai who comes to India looking for the secrets behind the Indian martial art, kalaripayattu. The Indo-Japanese collaboration has influenced even the music for the film with A.R. Rahman and Japan’s renowned music director Joe Hisaishi teaming up.

Earlier this month, the two maestros shared musical notes at a meeting in Tokyo. Looks like Bharath doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned.
