Bands from Bangalore and Chennai will perform at Rock @ SecSatPondy

Get set to rock at the May edition of SecSatPondy — the live music show — this evening. After last month’s ethnic binge, this edition will feature two rock bands from Bangalore and Chennai, besides jam sessions by local and visiting musicians.
Popular hard rock act “Shamans”, known as “Bangalore’s Band from Hell”, have performed at many college rock festivals, and have won competitions such as Campus Rock Idol. Their unique feature is fusing the tabla with a metal sound.
Making their debut is Incarcerated, the blues rock quartet from Chennai.
The band will perform classic hits from Vaughn, Richards, G3 and Beatles. Entry to the event, supported by Puducherry Tourism Department, is free.
It will begin at 7 p.m. at Seagulls Restaurant on Beach Road.
