Remember the film “Seeta Aur Geeta”, which had Hema Malini in a double role playing the naïve Seeta and the street-smart Geeta? Now, get ready for a small screen encore. NDTV Imagine has bought the rights for remaking the movie for its channel and Anjori Alagh, daughter of Sunil and actress Maya Alagh, is playing the twin lead. The original Seeta/Geeta dropped in to ‘bless’ the team. Touching, we’d say. Just for your information, Sameer Nair, CEO, NDTV Imagine, is Anjori’s uncle.
